My passion for this industry is just as strong as ever. The satisfaction I receive when witnessing the smile on peoples' faces at having experienced a truly enjoyable stay never gets old. Whether it be a family's annual vacation, a honey moon, business stop over or special anniversary gift. being able to create wonderful memorable experiences in peoples lives is the driving force behind my passion. 20 years on and I love my job more than ever.

As General Manager of a 455 room 8 outlet hotel in one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world, Bangkok, I see each day as an enormous challenge, one which requires a tremendous committed team in order to stay on top. Right down from the G.M to the cleaning staff, each and every link in the chain is only as strong as each other. The implementation of our unique "coaching culture", which includes, team building events, role play, sports activities, birthday celebrations for staff, all help to aid constant improvement of our ability to serve the guest to the highest level of satisfaction. I always encourage our entire management team to encourage any feedback and comments from staff…after all they are the ones on the front line. Thailand has not been without it's own unique set of disruption over recent years. Thai people are incredibly resilient and have taught me to not worry so much about things we have no control over, to make the most of each and every day and quite simply to focus on the present task at hand. The hospitality industry here in Thailand is in safe hands, a status I am extremely determined to maintain.
