Finaliste - Trophée du Meilleur Hôtelier

Maison Albar Hotel

Campagne - Elias DAHERT - Maison Albar Hotel

Elias belongs to the new wave of General Managers (one of the youngest), sticking to traditional Hospitality Heritage, though rethinking its presentation to make it fit in the 21st century. Working with Maison Albar is redefining “L’Art de Vivre à la Francaise” offering a “Luxe décompléxé” emotional experience.

For once let’s not talk about a name or a person.
Let’s tell you a story, talk about an adventure, family, friends, teams, companies that make a Hotelier what he is.

Raised in Lebanon but grew up in all the countries figuring in the books he read, speaking 5 languages but thinking in as many as can count.

Dreaming of being an archeologist, volunteering in summer camps and associations for kids in need, he soon realized the pleasure and personal accomplishment it gave to contribute to people’s happiness. Playing football at a professional level until his 19 made him discover the strength of working as a team, leading, following, fighting & cheering for the same purpose as a team, a family where each player counts as much as the other. That is the first step in Management.

Travels! He’s been told “Traveling is the only thing you pay that makes you richer”. Coping with the local tissue, feeding on local traditions, not speaking the same language, not smelling the same flavors and greeting the same way. But always smiling and laughing the same way, that is what traveling is all about. Not a new layout,  but same way of cheering & extending the travel experience and highlighting “emotions”.

All these lines gather under one word ” Hospitality” and made him cross the globe from studying it in France, to working abroad, to finally and proudly work for Maison Albar Hotel as General Manager.

Previously representing the Tallinn Tourism Office, still member of many association, having worked in exclusive establishments such as the Ritz, Le Bristol, Raffles, La Reserve made him grow up, gain experience, perseverance and strive to lead teams exceeding guests expectations.

“The heart has its reasons, of which reason knows nothing”... His heart took him to Moscow where he got married and ran an institutional establishment catering the Kremlin and managing over 360 employees with a work method, language, mentality he discovered, learned and lived with.

We all contribute to the stars and sparkle we put in the guests’ eyes but just for a short moment of time...Tailor making every contact, every welcome, stay, minute of a hotel guest & hotel staff is the key of successful hotel and making a Hotelier the one of the day, week, month, year.

In love with traditional hotel service, but stuck between it and a world in perpetual motion, guests with new needs, teams with the new lifestyles, Maison Albar  Hotel was the right match for a long professional investment redefining luxury, a place where guests can dive into an emotional and sensory exploration of unique living experiences.

Focusing on guest experience, transforming the financial transaction between a guest and a hotel into emotions, believing, trusting counting on their teams, focusing on sports, made him take the right choice joining Maison Albar Family who is also expending on an international level.

He is today in charge of delivering a unique alchemy between French Elegance and Cult-Art Fusion created in each Maison Albar Hotel.
