Four Points by Sheraton has announced their impressive pipeline with the opening of their 175th establishment, and new goal to reach the 200-hotel milestone in 2014.
The Four Points by Sheraton brand surpassed the 175-hotel milestone with 175th hotel in 2013 with the Four Points by Sheraton Manhattan (Kansas, United States), Four Points by Sheraton Riyadh (Saudi Arabia, pictured), Four Points by Sheraton Ahmedabad (India), and Four Points by Sheraton Kecskemet (Hungary).This impressive growth gives the brand the second-largest pipeline and makes it the third-largest brand for Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide. In 2012, the brand made up more than a quarter of Starwood's openings and signings. The coming year is expected to build on this momentum with more deals than ever before in the brand's history.In addition to 175 establishments worldwide, the brand has reached 120 hotels in the United States. In the coming year, it will add three new markets: Peru, Sri Lanka, and Libya. According to Simon Turner, Starwood's President of Global Development, there is still plenty of room for growth, and we can expect to see more Four Points by Sheraton hotels appearing in more untapped markets during the coming year.
