Representing the brand, Peter Verhoeven, Chief Operating Officer at the ibis Brand, received the trophy for the Best Communication Campaign at the 14th des Worldwide Hospitality Awards ceremony. The hotel chain was awarded for its Ibis Snuggling Bunnies campaign.For this campaign, ibis Hotels wanted a video that could be commented on and shared on the internet, to make an impression and reach a larger audience. As the Web is rich in content today and is increasingly used in brand promotion, the chain needed a surprising, engaging, and fun video in order to make the difference. This is why it chose to show rabbits in its hotels to express a feeling of comfort, which corresponds to the image that the brand wants to convey. Rabbits seem to be ideal candidates to demonstrate the comfort of new beds, Sweet Bed, in a memorable and enjoyable way.
