
Starwood Hotels and Resorts has announced the expansion of the Four Points by Sheraton brand across the Americas with an establishment in British Columbia, Canada.
The new establishment is the Four Points by Sheraton Kelowna Airport in British Columbia, Canada. According to Starwood Hotels’ Senior Vice President of Specialty Select Brands Brian McGuinness, Canada is an especially marked target for the brand, as “demand for the brand continues to rise in dynamic markets across Canada,” says, for Starwood. “Guests will enjoy an honest value, genuine service, and all the amenities they need to stay productive on the road”, he continues.
The hotel brings 120 rooms to Kelowna. The new property will also offer 4 500 square feet of meeting space, full-service dining, a swimming pool with waterslide, and 24-hour fitness. In addition, the location is ideal. Not only is Kelowna Airport the 1àth largest in Canada, (expected to welcome more than 1.6 million travelers this year), but the hotel also has easy access to both Downtown Okanagan and the Okanagan Campus of the University of British Columbia.
