Charlie Dang joined Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts in February 2017 bringing with him 36 years of hospitality experience.
As Executive Vice President for some of Shangri-La’s mainland China hotels, Mr. Dang’s responsibilities include providing guidance in the sales and operation disciplines, and overall strategy planning. Prior to this appointment, Mr. Dang held the positions of Regional Vice President, South East Asia and Regional Vice President Operations, Greater China within the Starwood group. Mr. Dang began his career working in various food and beverage leadership positions in Europe, Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore and Greater China.
