
Wyndham Hotel Group entered a partnership with Chatwal Hotels & Resorts that will award the hotel company exclusive rights to franchise and manage Chatwal’s Dream and Night brands of boutique hotels, but allow Chatwal to retain its trademarks and intellectual property. The Night brand will cater to primary and secondary markets as an “affordable chic” establishment. The “Dream” brand will be marketed as a lifestyle hotel with full service in gateway cities as well as resorts. The list of locations where the six-year old Dream and Night are present already includes New York, Bangkok and Cochin (India), but will soon expand to Miami, Southeast Asia, and a second neighbourhood of Manhattan. Eric Danzinger (Wyndham CEO) believes this partnership will allow both groups’ forces to complement each other.
