Take a journey through the streets of Asia with Miss Tess, an innovative night bar and kitchen overlooking Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest tower.
With the number of Asian tourists entering into Dubai growing, it became increasingly important to serve this emerging market segment. A common trait between Middle Eastern and Asian food is their level of spice.
While both use different methods in terms of preparation, it’s the hot and spicy flavours that frequently draws in expats and locals alike, towards Asian food. When the opportunity arose to innovate and come up with a different dining concept for the global eatery Tesoro, little wonder then that the Taj Dubai team chose to go down the Asian route.
They collaborated with Infini Concepts, a leading restaurant management group to launch Miss Tess - a street-food restaurant inspired by a story of an Asian woman who grew up on the streets of her continent, learning what they offer best and turning this knowledge into a fully Asian gastronomical experience.
Miss Tess leads service like a theatrical performance, engaging with guests, as delicious and enticing drinks and dishes fill the tables, creating an electric yet effortless atmosphere.
Taking culinary inspiration from five cuisines Korean, Thai, Chinese, Vietnamese and Japanese, Miss Tess offers food and thirst-quenchers designed to savour with friends. Highlights include, authentic Korean BBQ, fresh sushi prepared by culinary Ninjas, a variety of fresh and spicy Thai soups, delectable noodles and street food favourites prepared before guests eyes at the interactive cooking stations, offering a slice of tradition in the heart of Downtown Dubai.
