The Hotusa Group is currently a dynamic, expanding organisation with over 38 years' experience and formed of a pool of companies from diverse spheres of the tourism sector. The embryo and hub of the Hotusa Hotels group is a hotel consortium created in Barcelona in 1977 which today positions itself as the world's number one independent hotel consortium.
The Hotusa Group develops business activities in over 100 countries. The central headquarters is in Barcelona and it has offices in Madrid, Paris, London, Rome, Lisbon, Buenos Aires, Mexico and Bangkok.
The Group is structured around two main areas:
- Tourism area: This is made up of different companies geared towards providing services to hotels.
- Hotel area: This encompasses the hotel operations business, on an ownership and lease level. It currently has a portfolio of over 150 hotels, over 80 of which are involved in the Eurostars Hotels chain and around twenty in the Exe Hotels chain
The Hotusa Group is a growing organisation. And not just because it is growing annually, but because growth and reinvestment represent some of the hallmarks of our identity. Since its inception, the Group has closed its financial year with profits. Profits which, until today, have never been distributed among the shareholders, but reinvested to keep growing, to expand our activities and to break into new markets.
