Hotel TwentySeven, an unprecedented dream experience.

TwentySeven has innovatively redefined the basis of a ‘hotel’ design and luxury. Every sense was thought out to extreme detail in a fusion of technology, consciousness, comfort and luxury. The hotel is comprised of 16 uniquely appointed stunning suites, a chic bar and a tantalizing restaurant.

The inspiration of TwentySeven was to create an unforgettable and surreal atmosphere for guests that have 'seen it all', to create an environment that guests have truly never experienced before. To feel completely taken into an alternate and intimate reality where one can forget about the world for a time. To create a magical impact on all of their senses innovation was the key.

How to create a design that is unforgettable, compelling, viable and unprecedented? To create something so far beyond the standard and create an enchanting impact on all of the guests senses? How to accommodate the most discerning guests that wish for only the best experience but which is also far from the ordinary and far from something they have already experienced? How to create a total dream experience, which is completely surreal and never done before?

This 4 year long reconstruction project emerged from an iconic building, which would become home to TwentySeven, in the beating heart of the city on Dam Square. The owners and designers had the challenge to carefully and consciously transform the monumental building from 1913, full of rich detail, into a luxury dream hotel.

Innovation detail:

Silence is a Luxury. Complete innovative soundproofing of the hotel, on a level that has never been done before, although the hotel is located in the heart of the city overlooking the vibrant Dam Square, inside guests are in complete peace and silence, each suite has 2 sets of double glass windows with an extra sound-insulating wall between the windows to ensure perfect silence. Windows are open-able in all suites for guests to enjoy fresh air if they wish.

Fresh & Noiseless Air systems. Special air filter systems for the most clean fresh air possible. The air-conditioning units are neither seen nor heard, out the guests sight and completely silent.

Deep-Sleep, Free of light. Many hotel rooms claim to black out the light, however they still manage to have light from under a door or from an electronic device. TwentySeven delivers this promise, complete darkness, no light interruption found anywhere, for the ultimate restful deep sleep. Some guests prefer to leave a light on somewhere in the suite, as they are not used to the total darkness. Soft light sensors detect guests’ feet before they even hit the silk carpets, to safely guide them in the middle of the night.

In Suite Spa Experience. Each suite has a completely Italian marble 2 person steam cabin, with 2 large rain shower heads, with the perfect amount of space in between, to give ultimate comfort should guests like to experience this together. The celing of the steam cabin has been curved to not inconvenience guests with water droplets to falling a their head. 2-person Jacuzzi, which is perfectly deep for 2 to be fully immersed, yet not sink in. Separate Lighting controls in both the Jacuzzi and steam cabin to set the mood to whichever color a guest feels in that moment.

Soft to the touch. Each material and fabric has been hand selected from the finest design houses, for not only aesthetic but also for comfort, functionality and touch. Lush, deep, velvet sofas. Chairs swivel to be able to comfortably speak to anyone in the suite or see all the vantage points without effort. Carpets are hand made of silk. Walldressings woven of silk and copper thread. Every texture is opulent and asks to be touched.

Setting the Mood. All suites and bathrooms have easy to use functions to set the lighting mood from bright and fresh to deep sultry colors.

Technology at the touch of your fingers. All controls are very easily managed by iPads conveniently located in just the right spots in the suites. Control lighting, lighting color, blinds, curtains, temperatures,

Not just a mini bar. All suites have a state of the art temperature controlled wine cabin, with a selection of wines and champagnes hand selected by our sommelier, Lendl Mijnhijmer, awarded the best sommelier of The Netherlands.

Enchanted Air. TwentySeven’s exclusive signature sultry scent, created by the international home fragrance designer brand Delush, softly enchants the air of this sanctuary.
