A unique event creating opportunities for students to meet Accorhotels executives and catch an internship!
Born in 2016 at AccorHotels Head office FOR students and BY the students, have come a long way by making it international and building closer relations in many regions. Over the 4 years, we had more than 3000 students who participated. It is a unique opportunity for students to meet executive committee members of AccorHotels and listen to their success stories and experiences. In order to help students to become insiders of AccorHotels, the program Meet-Ups co-built with students and for students held 5 times per year at the Head office according to the school calendar so that students involve themselves and build their career in the AccorHotels and the hospitality industry.
AccorHotels is ready to share with the new generation and the future leaders the insights, trends of hospitality industry and enrich them with the growth and future aspects of AccorHotels. We want to make them Feel Welcome and help in building their careers from the very beginning. A big group has to break ice in order to help discovery of the multiple aspects of its strategy and opportunities.
This regular rendez-vous with students is set in four stages.
- Head office visit - Students want to know more about the Work Culture
- Speed Forum – It is the step where students and recruiters from AccorHotels group meet for a quick chat to discuss about the internships, apprenticeships and job opportunities in Accorhotels.
- Conference – The talk given by one of the COMEX members.
- Networking – Interact and build your network within the organization over a glass of drink.
We have partnered with more than 200 schools worldwide and have a close contact with the faculty, school representatives and the students as we visit and engage with them. In addition, we created a group as students@accorhotels on LinkedIn and more than 6000 students are members of it from all over the world. We have a strong and energetic team of 20 Student Ambassadors from different schools in France and Switzerland who play an important role as communicators in their respective schools.
The interesting aspect, where there is a challenge between the schools as we shout out about the most represented schools during and after the event.
We also communicate on social media, AccorHotels jobs and by word of mouth, which plays the key role. The main objective is to deliver a topic related to strategic orientations of AccorHotels by proposing several subjects to students and they chose the topic of their interest would be proposed to the respective keynote speaker who is from the Executive Committee.
Through Facebook Live, we reach out to students in different continents and who cannot make it for the event.
For instance, during the 11th edition of MeetUps Facebook Live broadcasted in Florida, Italy, and few French Universities and there was a debriefing session with their professors, comrades and Talent & Culture representatives of AccorHotels present on site.

One of the main aspect behind this whole event is the organization committee with all interns and apprentices from the AccorHotels Head Office. For example: We had our most recent MeetUps on 19th September with Sébastien Bazin Chairman and CEO of AccorHotels, 30 interns and apprentices engaged 500 students/guests who attended the conference.
