Two hotels sold by ICHG

InterContinental Hotels Group has confirmed the sale of the 195-room InterContinental The George in Edinburgh to Principal Hotels. It has also sold the 240-room Crowne Plaza Brussels Europa to Atenor Group, and signed a franchise deal on the property. Total proceeds from the two disposals before transaction costs came to euro 51 m. Since April 2003, ICHG has disposed of 125 hotels with proceeds of around euro 2.7 bn. A further 20 properties with a net book value of euro 585 m remain on the market.
