RevPAR among French hoteliers continued to rise in September, whether compared with September 2022, year on year or over the last 12 months. All segments combined, RevPAR was up 11.5% on September 2022 and 24.4% on the same period in 2019.

Once again, average daily rates are driving this growth, up 11.1% compared with September 2022 and 27% compared with September 2019. Unsurprisingly, the combination of a recovery in corporate travel and the hosting of Rugby World Cup teams and supporters gave hoteliers plenty of scope to leverage...
