Summary _ The best thing about this nomination is that it has given me the opportunity to reflect on all that I have achieved within Accor over the past twelve years. I have seen new training plans delivered and executed against best practice, a more environmentally friendly way of approaching how I do business, and a continuous review of how the Novotel Brand sits within the market place. My first General Manager’s position started in 2003 and following four very consistent and successful years I took up my first Novotel General Manager position at Milton Keynes. It was here that I turned around a “priority need” hotel in terms of sales, revenue and profitability. The actions I took and the leadership I displayed to the team resulted in huge increases in Sales, Quality and the development of my teams._ The commitment and passion I have for the hospitality industry has been demonstrated within the different markets I have worked in. This is mainly due to the mobility opportunities that Accor has given me. I am a natural born leader and I utilize my skills in developing future manager’s for the company._ Please tell us why do you think you should win?_ For over fifteen years within the hospitality industry I have been fully committed to delivering excellence within the hospitality industry. My progression within the Accor group has been extremely rewarding and in each of the hotels I have managed I have consistently delivered and outperformed on all Key Performance Indicators set. To be recognised by Accor for this nomination, is in itself a great honor and if I were to go ahead and win, it would certainly be a highlight of my career so far. _ I would like to take this opportunity to thank Accor for allowing me to grow both personally and professionally and I have no doubt that I will continue to do so in the coming years.
