Lebua, which currently operates two luxury hotels in Bangkok and one in New Zealand, is in talks with developers and property owners to join the surge of hotel brands launching in India. The cost per key for a Lebua hotel is about US$400,000.
“At any given point of time, we aim to have only three hotels in India. One would be in New Delhi, another in Mumbai and the third one depends upon the demand and availability of right partners, land, location, etc.,”The company currently has sales offices in New Delhi and Mumbai.CEO Deepak Ohri tells HospitalityBizIndia.com. “Each of the properties in India will have three restaurants and three bars. There will be a Chinese and an India restaurant, and a third one is yet to decided.
