Hotel activity results in France in 2011 are generally quite positive, despite a social and economic context that has disintegrated across the months. The result produced an increase in the two basic indexes and thus growth in the RevPAR by 5.8% across the year. This average change masks the more contrasted reality of the different hotel categories as well as of Paris and the rest of the country and the changing situation across the months.
