Nestled in the heart of Rome's historic centre, in the Pantheon district, Orient Express will open its first hotel in Piazza de la Minerva.
Between travel, luxury and memories
Orient Express Grand Hotel de la Minerva will be the new address of the Accor group. Their first property will blend history and refinement by inviting guests into the former Palazzo Fonseca, a 17th century palace in the heart of Rome.
This emblematic building will offer a panoramic terrace where guests can admire the dome of the Pantheon, the Sant'Ivo dome and the roof of the Quirinal. Orient Express whispers an invitation to travel, announcing the opening of 10 new locations by 2023.
"Today marks the beginning of a new era, the launch of a collection of hotels unique in the world and in one of the most romantic capitals in Europe. An ideal choice to tell the new Orient Express stories" Guillaume de Saint-Lager, Vice President of Orient Express
With Orient Express, Accor continues its development around luxury, travel and excellence. The group already shines with its emblematic brands such as Raffles, Sofitel, Fairmont, Movenpick... and cultivates its strategy of choice in quality of services. In Rome, Orient Express will join the Sofitel and Mc Gallery brands already established in the city.
