At the end of May 2018, 7 new routes will serve cities on the west coast of the United States.
The German intercity coach company FlixBus has announced its launch in the United States.
Starting May 31, 2018, Flixbus will connect seven West Coast cities, including Los Angeles, San Diego and Las Vegas. The cities will be connected by 180 daily connections.

When the network is extended to "around twenty cities" by the end of 2018, the company hopes to reach 1,000 connections per day.
Having identified potential in this market, André Schwämmlein, co-founder and CEO of FlixBus, said last November: "We have seen a major shift in the mobility market in the United States, where both the role of public transport and the consideration of the environmental impact of transport modes have become major. FlixBus wants to be part of this evolution and hopes to soon be able to offer Americans its alternative mobility offer, ecological and affordable for all budgets.”

In Europe, Flixbus connects 1,600 cities in 27 countries and will increase its offer by 30% to 350,000 daily connections by the end of 2018.
