Eurostar offers special rates and benefits when passengers book trains and hotels together.
The carrier now offers its passengers access to a range of selected and approved hotels, ranging from 2 to 5 stars. The traveller will benefit from special rates and advantages (upgrade, free champagne glass...) by combining train and hotel reservations.
The company was already offering hosting on its site through a partnership with Expedia but stopped it a month ago to create its own platform.

Eurostar aims to get closer to the customer by having control over future developments: "We will use the data collected on the platform to make personalised offers. When it comes to digital, the time we have to capture his attention is very limited. The only way to retain the customer on our site and sell him a service, is to make him very targeted offers.” said Roberto Abbondio, in charge of New Digital Business for Eurostar.
Eurostar's ambition is to become a real player in travel: within a few months, the company will also integrate a third dimension to travel, namely activities, into its online bookable offer. “We will then forge long-term partnerships with the best attractions our cities have to offer, from the most popular to the most unique and customized ones" says Roberto Abbondio.
