In order to be more efficient in supporting the growth of its commercial activities and to offer new growth in relations with its partners, Costa has created a new organisation that includes France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Norway, Finland, Denmark and Sweden.
Raffaele D'Ambrosio, previously Director Spain, is appointed Vice-President of the Northern Europe Region.
"Costa is continually adapting its organisation to be in the best position to seize any business opportunity offered by the markets and to work more and more effectively with our partners," said Massimo Brancaleoni, Senior Vice President Worldwide Sales. "Costa has ambitious growth forecasts in the countries of this Region and I am confident that Raffaele will be able to bring all his expertise and enthusiasm to support the organisation and achieve the expected results."
In France, a key market for Costa and the cruise ecosystem, Georges Azouze, as President, will be in charge of Institutional Affairs for all communities, authorities and major players in the cruise sector. He will also be involved in commercial development projects in France (metropolitan France and overseas departments and territories) and Belgium.
In addition, Ralph Remkes will retain responsibility for the Benelux and Nordic countries based in Amsterdam while the new Costa Spain management will be announced shortly.
"Costa is growing year after year with a high value offering, the best product in its category and a variety of offers specifically designed to provide a unique experience on board our vessels. I find a great team in place and I am confident that with the work and resources we have on the field, we will effectively support the growth of our brand," said Raffaele D'Ambrosio, Vice President of the Costa Nord Europe Region.
