The Swedish group Pandox sells a 14-hotel portfolio

Scandic Gävle Väst Hotel

The hotel group announced the sale of 14 properties to the operator Fastighets AB Balder, for close to 240 million euros.

Pandox Hotels parts with a 14-hotel portfolio, representing a total of 2,400 rooms. The properties were purchased by the Swedish operator Fastighets AB Balder for 2.2 billion krona, or close to 240 million euros. The latter will own the hotels from the second semester of 2014.

The portfolio at hand includes properties operated under different international brands: Best Western Royal Corner Växjö (159 rooms), the Clarion Hotel Plaza Karlstad (131 rooms), the Park Inn by Radisson Solna (247 rooms), the Quality Hotel Grand Kristianstad (137 rooms), the Quality Hotel Nacka (164 rooms), the Scandic Gävle Väst (200 rooms), the Scandic Skogshöjd Södertälje (225 rooms), the Scandic Star Lund (196 rooms), the Scandic Swania Trollhättan (201 rooms), the Scandic Uplandia Uppsala (133 rooms), the Scandic Upplands Väsby (156 rooms), the Scandic Uppsala Nord (184 rooms), the Scandic Västeras (174 rooms) and the Scandic Växjö (123 rooms).

Once the transfer has been finalized, the Pandox Hotels portfolio will include 105 properties in nine different countries, representing 22,000 rooms.
