Accor confirms its desire to increase its presence in Eastern Europe by opening its 13th property in Romania (its 8th in Bucharest) on June 22, 2020. This opening, which takes place in a post-Covid context, is also intended to be optimistic and to convey a strong message for the local market.
"With the opening of the ibis Styles Bucharest City Center, we wish to send a positive message to the local tourist market. We are convinced that, even if we are going through difficult times, we will overcome them and come out of them stronger. With a great product and a determined team behind it, ibis Styles Bucharest City Center will soon become a reference in the centre of Bucharest, both for accommodation and events", said Bogdan Dogariu, CEO of Dentotal Group.
The ibis Styles Bucharest City Center is located in the heart of the Romanian capital, and offers 152 rooms with a conference area for 20 to 170 participants, a traditional restaurant with a terrace in a relaxed atmosphere, a bar as well as a fully equipped gym and a children's corner. Its location in the city centre and these services make it a hotel for both business and leisure guests.
"The ibis Styles Bucharest City Center completes our offer with a quality hotel and excellent service in the economy segment. Our strategy has been to market two complementary units in the centre of Bucharest [with the Mercure Bucharest City Centre]. We want them to be perceived by customers as one of the best options in the center of the capital, both for the mid-market segment and for the economy," said Alina Vladulescu, Cluster Manager, Mercure Bucharest City Center and ibis Styles Bucharest City Center.
Located at the crossroads of Stirbei and Berzei avenues, the hotel is just a few steps away from the Romanian capital's tourist sites, such as the Cișmigiu park, the Romanian Athenaeum, the Parliament Palace, the central business district of Victoriei Square and the Gara de Nord Central Station, less than five minutes away.
The hotel is part of the pilot project for the preparation, audit and certification of sanitary procedures.
