Budapest Hungary Wyndham

A new 52-room Ramada hotel, from the American group Wyndham, has opened in the old city-center of Budapest, in Hungary.

Nestled in a renovated historic building, created in 1905, this new property shows the interest of Wyndham for eastern Europe. The location is attractive, in the UNESCO protected area, close to the vibrant city-center. Many monuments are in the surroundings, such as Saint Stephen's Basilica or the Hungarian Parliament. The hotel is also located a few steps away from the Danube river.

The Ramada by Wyndham Budapest City Center is offering 52 rooms, from Deluxe room (24 sqm) to Superior room (27 sqm to 42 sqm). Every guesthouse is well equipped with a flat-screen HDTV, minibar, coffee maker, desk, safe, plush linens, bathrobe and slippers, ironing amenities, hair dryer, and welcome gif. Clients will also enjoy a rooftop restaurant and bar with a nice view on Budapest’s skyline. A 75-meter meeting room is available for business clients and can accommodate up to 20 people.

The interest of Wyndham for Budapest confirms the attractivity of this city, which is becoming more and more popular in Europe right now. Indeed, between 2017 and 2018, passengers in Budapest airport has grown by 14.5% to reach 13.1 million people. Budapest has also recorded an increase of 3.2% in hotel overnights in 2018.

Nowadays, Wyndham is the world’s largest hotel franchising company, with over 9,200 hotels across more than 80 countries on six continents. With this new opening in Budapest, Wyndham also reinforces its hotel networks in Europe (outside of the UK), where the group is not enough recognized yet.
