Compagnie Lebon and Thala Invest created a joint-venture to take over the companies SET Brides and SET Hôtels in Brides-les-Bains.

Compagnie Lebon completed its first hotel acquisition outside Paris. It created a joint-venture, of which it has 60% control, with Thala Invest, a company held by Egyptian investors, to take over SET Brides and SET Hôtels. The transaction is valued at 7.5 million euros.

This investment is part of the development of Compagnie Lebon's Hospitality Pole which it wishes to expand into wellness. SET Brides manages the thermal Brides-les-Bains properties (Thermes de Brides-les-Bains, Le Grand Spa des Alpes, Thermes de Salins-les-Thermes), while SET Hôtels manages the Golf Hôtel 4* (54 rooms) and the Hôtel Savoy 3* (44 rooms).

"Brides-les-Bains is the leading weight loss resort in France. This operation allows us to acquire high quality technical and human expertise. As for the partnership with Thala Invest, this firm was developed during the study and creation of this acquisition dossier opened a year ago. This partnership also supports our goals to develop internationally," declared Emmanuel Russel, General manager of Compagnie Lebon.

Managed by the Paluel-Marmont family, Compagnie Lebon is developing around three poles of expertise: Hospitality (31% of the Revalued Net Assets as of 31/12/2013) with Esprit de France and now SET Brides and SET Hôtels, Real Estate (20%) with Paluel-Marmont Valorisation and Capital Investment (33%) with Paluel-Marmont Capital.
