The hotel property company Christie & Co assisted the owner in the sale of its shareholding in a hotel group of twenty five hotels, while the management company 123 Investment Managers provided operational guidance to the acquiring shareholder.

The transfer, premises and commercial assets brings to 1,583 the number of rooms under 5 Accor group brands (Hotel F1, ibis Budget, ibis, ibis Styles and Mercure). The properties are located in several agglomerations in the Greater East region, including seven hotels in the three main agglomerations of Alsace and Lorraine: Strasbourg, Nancy and Metz. The rest of the portfolio concentrates on the main axes that structure the economic development of the Greater East region: the Sillon Lorrain (Thionville-Metz-Nancy-Épinal) and the Reims-Metz-Strasbourg and Reims-Nancy-Strasbourg routes.

Jean-Christophe Charolle, Christie & Co's North-East regional manager, states that this transaction underlines the current context of hotel investment "particularly in the economic and midscale segments in the regions". For his part, Pierre Dupuy-Chaignaud, Associate Director at 123 Investment Managers explains that the investment and support provided by the company will enable the acquiring shareholder to "strengthen its network with the acquisition of new assets in the short or medium term and the renovation of some of its assets".
