AccorHotels has announced that it is in the midst of negotiations with investors.
In 2013, AccorHotels wanted to separate its two businesses: hotel investment on the one hand, services operator on the other.
As part of its project to make AccorInvest a subsidiary, AccorHotels wishes to sell part of AccorInvest’s capital. The group is currently engaged in discussions with French and international investors to signing a definitive agreement.
With this agreement, AccorHotels plans to further accelerate its growth through hotel renovations, hotel acquisitions and new project operations.
As of January 1, 2017, AccorHotels ranked 6th hotel group worldwide with 4,149 establishments totaling over 583,000 rooms, according to data published by Hospitality ON.
