IHCL signs a SeleQtions hotel in the Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve

Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) announced the signing of a SeleQtions hotel in partnership with Thriving Hotels Private Limited, in the Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve in the state of Maharashtra, India.

Varun Jain, CEO of Thriving Hotels Private Limited, said:

"We are delighted to partner with IHCL to bring the SeleQtions brand to Tadoba, one of India's most popular tiger reserves. We look forward to offering our guests the distinctive charm and immersive experiences of SeleQtion."

The 35-room hotel will have a distinctive design and all the necessary amenities to provide guests with a safari experience. This Greenfield project, scheduled to open in 2022, will be one of 47 projects in the reserve. The National Park welcomes many tourists from all over the world, mostly during the months of October to June. 

Venkatesh, Executive Vice President - Real Estate and Development of the IHCL commented on the signing:

"IHCL is entering a new leisure destination with this hotel. Tadoba National Park is the oldest and largest tiger reserve in Maharashtra. In addition to serving guests seeking a wilderness experience, the hotel's size and proximity to Nagpur airport will help attract meetings and conferences. These hotels will complement the existing safari circuit in our portfolio. We are delighted to partner with Thriving Hotels in this project."
