Hôtel Banke Paris

Wholly owned by Derby Hotels Collection since last year, the property underwent renovation works and has now received a fifth star.

The Hotel Banke in Paris was rewarded a fifth star by the French tourism development agency Atout France. "I am very pleased with this distinction that crowns our commitment and efforts. This new star is a reward for the daily work of our staff, who work indefatigably to improve our guests' stay," declared Joaquim Clos, Managing Director of the Derby Hotel Collection, on this occasion.

Since it opened 5 years ago, the hotel has invested over 7 million euros in improving its premises in terms of decoration, expansion and renovation of all facilities and Suites, going from 105 to 92 spacious rooms. In 2013 the Clos family, owner of Derby Hotels Collection, bought the Metropolis Group's 50% holding in the hotel to gain 100% ownership of the property.

The Derby Hotels Collection, under its Chairman Jordi Clos, has 20 properties, including two emblematic hotels, the Claris Hotel in Barcelona and the Urban Hotel in Madrid.
