Foncière des Regions acquires the NH Amsterdam Center hotel

Through its subsidiary Foncière des Murs, Foncière des Régions bought the real estate of the Dutch hotel from the group NH Hotels, for a total of 47.9 million euros.

Foncière des Régions is investing in Amsterdam and acquiring, through its subsidiary Foncière des Murs, the walls of the NH Amsterdam Center hotel in the Netherlands. The transaction with the Spanish hotel group NH Hotels represents 47.9 million euros.

The NH Amsterdam Center is a four-star property with 232 rooms, operated through a 20-year lease contract. It is the group's third hotel in the Dutch capital, where it currently manages some 3,000 rooms.

For NH Hotels, this first agreement with Foncière des Murs should give way to new collaborations with the French group, particularly with a goal to expanding its presence in France and especially in Paris. It also allows Foncières des Régions to pursue the European strategy it recently began (read our article).
