The investment fund FelCor Lodging announced the sale of two properties, the DoubleTree Suites Hotel Dana Point in California and Embassy Suites Hotel-BWI Airport in Baltimore.
FelCor Lodging, the American investment fund, is repositioning its hotel portfolio in the United States. It announced the sale of the walls of the DoubleTree in Dana Point, with 196 rooms, as well as of the Embassy Suites in Baltimore, which has 251 rooms near the city's airport. These two transactions represent around 40 million euros (54.1 million US dollars).
FelCor does not plan to stop here. It is expected to sell four other properties for a total of 54 million euros (73 million US dollars). Today, the investment fund has already parted ways with 28 "non-strategic" hotels, representing 627 million dollars.
