Le groupe espagnol de la famille Clos a racheté les parts de son partenaire dans les deux hôtels hors d'Espagne.
Owned by the Clos family of Barcelona, the Derby Collection group has gone past the Spanish borders to diversify in France and England. In Paris, the Banke Hotel, rue Lafayette, was co-financed by the historic Metrópolis group, as well as The Caesar in London. The Clos family has bought the 50% retained by its partner in the two capitals and now wholly owns the two properties, for an investment estimated at €120 million. The Derby Hotels Collection group, lead by Jordi Clos, is at the head of a real estate legacy of 20 establishments, two of which are emblematic, the Claris hotel of Barcelona and the Urban hotel of Madrid. A major collector, Jordi Clos also uses these establishments to showcase his collections, which includes an impressive collection of Egyptian antiquities. General management is secured for his son, Joaquim Clos.
