After investing no less than €500 million over the course of 2015, the Irish hotel group continues to grow through the acquisition of high-profile hotels in their respective destinations.
The hotel has 216 rooms, a restaurant, a bar, and also offers a fitness center as well as several meeting rooms. Previously operated as the Maldron Hotel Cardiff, it was rebranded last year to join the portfolio of the Irish group's upscale brand. This operation confirms the dynamism of Cardiff's hotel industry, in a city which benefits from some of the highest occupancy rates in Europe.
A major player of the Irish hotel industry, Dalata Hotel Group has been particularly active on the British market. Its portfolio comprises 42 properties totaling 7,700 rooms. More than half of which (24 hotels) are owned by Dalata, whose growth strategy currently focuses on acquisitions.
