Comlix House

Hotel Comlix House, which is owned by British tennisman Andy Murray, opened its doors in Dunblane, Scotland. The property was fully renovated into a brand-new luxury hotel.

Mr. Andrew Barron Murray's new luxury hotel just opened its doors in Dunblane (Scotland), the native city of the world-famous British tennisman. The Cromlix House property was bought last year by the winner of the 2013 Wimbledon Championship. It underwent thorough renovation works and reopened as a luxury hotel with 15 rooms, including 5 suites. The propety offers a restaurant managed by the famous French chef Albert Roux, owner of Le Gavroche in London (rated with 3 Michelin stars) and naturally there are tennis courts -though the hotel property doesn't tell guests whether Andy Murray could be a sparring partner, too.

Hotel management was handed to Inverlochy Castle Management International (ICMI). The group already has under its management another eight hotels in Scotland, including Hotels Inverlochy Castle in Fort Williams, Greywalls in Gullane, and Atholl in Edinburgh.

Before being taken over by Andy Murray in 2013 and renovated, the property had been used as a private residence until 2010, then shortly as a luxury hotel before closing doors in February 2012.
