
John Paul, a global leader in the concierge market, is set to be acquired by AccorHotels. The company's entreprise value should be close to 150 million dollars.

Now that we are the worldwide leader in premium loyalty solutions, we feel that we are at a tipping point in our venture and we need the empowerment of a strong leader to support the current traction. Entering the travel industry supported by AccorHotels means much more to the 1,000 people of the John Paul Group: we feel that combining our strengths will create a game changer in the industry”.
AccorHotels sets several priorities for 2016: complete the transformation plan for HotelInvest; successfully continue to implement all of the digital plan programs; and speed up the development of the accorhotels.com marketplace; consolidate the group's development pipeline; capitalize on improvement drivers; continue to revamp the management culture of the group.
John Paul was founded in 2007 in Paris and merged with LesConcierges in 2015, employing close to a thousand people across all five continents. As of January 2016, AccorHotels ranked as the 6th hotel group worldwide in terms of number of rooms, according to data published by Hospitality ON. Its global portfolio comprised 3,995 hotels totaling 554,508 rooms worldwide.
