Accor has surpassed 2,000 business hotels

The hotel group has announced the expansion of its network of establishments offering conference and seminar capacities, which it hopes to bring to 2 250 hotels between now and 2015.

Accor is developing on the business segment and has announced that it has passed the 2 000 mark of hotels dedicated to conference and seminar rooms, with more than 10 400 conference rooms available in 90 countries. Several hotels have also joined the group in this segment of which are the Sofitel Al Khobar The Corniche of Abu Dhabi, the Pullman Dubai Deira City Centre, the Pullman London St Pancras, the Pullman Jakarta Central Park, and the MGallery Carlton Lyon.

The hotel group also offers 250 new establishments under development and expects to attain a network of 2 250 hotels offering seminar capacities between now and 2015. The next openings in this segment will target strong growth markets: 64% in Asia-Pacific, 11% in Latin America and 6% in Africa and the Middle East. Among the establishments about to open their doors are the Sofitel Dubai The Palm Resort & Spa, the Sofitel So Singapore, the Pullman Saigon Centre and the Pullman Brussels Midi.
