Tourists might not be able to visit Australia until 2021

Tourism will have to get used to it, the resumption of the whole activity will take a long time. From January, 1st to June, to December 30, 2021, the travel ban is lifted with a two-week quarantine, required by the Australian July federal budget.

The latest news from the other side of the globe does not lend itself to smiles and optimism about a recovery in tourism. The radical ban on international travel and travel beyond New Zealand's borders will probably last until 2021.

The order, which has been in force since March 18, will now continue until December 17, 2020, Australian Health Minister Greg Hunt announced.

Leaden by the fear of importing the coronavirus, the Australian executive does not want to take any risks and limit all travel.

The country's Prime Minister recently indicated:

It would be unlikely that Australia's borders would open before Christmas, but that an exception with New Zealand or Japan could be created in 2021.
