Hoteliers had to implement various actions to reassure their guests by promising them a safe stay in their establishment thanks to sanitary protocols.
Commitment to clean Protea Hotel by Marriott Kampala & Skyz was a campaign aimed at the brand's guests to demonstrate the commitment of the teams to welcome them in the best possible conditions during the pandemic period. Disinfection of all hotel facilities is carried out in a professional and careful manner to ensure a safe stay for guests. As Uganda was one of the most vulnerable countries in the face of this unprecedented crisis, it was necessary to focus on protocols to ensure the safety of all.
Sofitel ALLSaf was created to raise awareness of the health measures and controls in place at Sofitel to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff. The campaign consists of a series of videos focusing on different sanitary measures such as masks, gloves, hydroalcoholic gel and social distancing while keeping the fun and glamour that characterises the Sofitel brand.
ALLSAFE: Every team member at the utmost of sanitary measures, a measure initiated by the Accor group to welcome back its guests and employees worldwide through the implementation of a rigorous sanitary protocol with the ALLSAFE label. This label was launched in April 2020 and aims to be one of the strictest sanitary protocols in the hotel industry.
Meet Your Quarantine Concierge by Ovolo Group is a concept launched in mid-2020 that offers people who need to observe a quarantine to do so in their hotels rather than at home. The group thus anticipated the quarantine hotel system designated by the Hong Kong Government. It was one of the first initiatives of its kind and more than just a hotel package, Ovolo offered a 'quarantine lifestyle' experience with a dedicated concierge, fitness kit and mindfulness and wellness kits to make this period easier to live with. Guests were safe and secure while making the most of the hotel's services.
