Aware of the importance of the industry and keen to maintain its position as the world's leading tourist destination, the French government is committed to raising the profile of French tourism on the international stage. After unveiling the "Destination France" plan in 2021, the Government is joining forces with the Regions of France to develop and promote expertise-based tourism. France's tourist appeal lies in its heritage and traditions, which have shaped its identity over the centuries and now attract millions of visitors, as long as we know how to highlight this wealth.
