Capitalising on its network, the joint venture between Accor and Bouygues Immobilier has signed an exclusive partnership with Kasada to develop its co-working facilities in the group's properties.
Launched in 2018, Kasada was developed with the support of Accor and the Qatar Investment Authority. Wojo can therefore leverage the global network of Europe's number one hotel operator to expand its geographical footprint.
The group is already present in Europe and Latin America, as its CEO Stéphane Bensimon points out: "After opening 75,000m² of flexible work spaces since 2015, this partnership with Kasada is a strategic step in our development. After Europe and Latin America, Kasada opens the doors to major cities in sub-Saharan Africa. These hotels designed in conjunction with flexible work spaces, known as "mixed-use", are one of the major development paths for WOJO. We are very proud to participate in this innovative and ambitious project alongside THE reference platform for hotel investment in Sub-Saharan Africa."
The sub-Saharan African market is still poorly equipped with coworking spaces and Kasada intends to take the lead on this service within its 10 properties in Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Namibia, Senegal and South Africa.
