MKG Hospitality exclusively reveals the first trends of November 2013. After a lackluster October, French hotel indicators are again rising, thanks in particular to All Saints’ vacations.
French hoteliers were thus able to improve their business indicators, particularly in inter-city Paris where they showed 4.3% progress in turnover, due to the strength of their average daily rates. This improvement was more moderated in other French regions, with a 1% increase in turnover, principally due to activity in the Ile-de-France (outside of Paris).
The good performance of the French hotel sector's activity indicators in November suggest stability in these figures over the whole of the 2013 year, during which monthly performances resembled a corrugated sheet with their ebbs and flows.
MKG Hospitality's monthly estimates are calculated based on daily results from a sample of participants in a daily performance program - Hotelcompset Daily®. The final results will be published next month. This information is from the full French market performance report published by MKG Hospitality every month.
