With 13.5 million visitors in the first nine months of the year, the British capital should surpass the 16.8 million arrivals recorded in 2013 for the entire year.

London reveals its first trends in tourist arrivals in 2014. Government officials expect figures to surpass the record of 16.8 million visitors reported in 2013, in light of the good figures observed in the first months of the year.

Between January and September, London recorded more than 13.5 million international tourist stays, or 6% more than in the same period in 2013. Visitor spending on the period is close to 8.9 billion pounds Sterling, or 11.6 billion euros, a figure that is up 6.5% over the first nine months of the previous year. these results allow sector professionals to take on 2015 in a vein of optimism.
