Tourists have been on holidays despite the rainy weather in July, bringing hotel performances closer to the pre-crisis level. While Paris and the region Ile-de-France remained below Pre-crisis levels, the rest of the country triggered a boost in the activity.

Between June and July 2021, the overall occupancy rate in the French hotel industry rose from 46% to 54.9%. The gap with 2019 remains at -21.3 points, but it is gradually narrowing.
