While the 2022 Football World Cup and the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games are fast approaching, other events are already attracting significant tourist flows to major European destinations. While fashion aficionados met in Paris for Fashion Week, beer lovers were able to party together in Munich during the Oktoberfest. Paris Fashion Week
From September 26 to October 4, fashionistas from all over the world met in the City of Light to celebrate fashion during the famous Fashion Week. The occupancy rate of all Parisian properties during this week was 82.7%, with a concentration of Fashion Week participants in high-end and luxury hotels. This week represents a significant financial windfall for Parisian hotel operators, even more so after two years deeply marked by the health crisis.

Indeed, searches for stays in the capital for Paris Fashion Week on the platform tripled in the second quarter of 2022 compared to the same period in 2021 and are up by around 25% compared to 2019. During Paris Fashion Week in 2019, the median revenue for hosts in Paris was around €550.
