Wellness and better-being are becoming major trends in the hospitality sector as travellers increasingly seek out places where they can recharge their batteries and disconnect from their sometimes stressful daily lives to reconnect with what is essential. Whether it's through sports activities, spa sessions, massages or more holistic experiences, the quest for well-being is increasingly present in today's society. A need that is likely to increase with the anxious atmosphere created by the health crisis.

Back To Move is a Radisson Hotel Group programme developed by specialists from the Sochi Professional Football Club. Its primary goal is to help improve sports results and recovery from sports injuries, and it is aimed at both professional sportspeople and those who want to get back into shape. The programme is flexible and can be modified according to individual goals and needs.

The Pullman Power Fitness Pod is a new autonomous mode of transport developed in partnership with Citroën using their skates as a base. This invention optimises travel time to the hotel by allowing guests to exercise while on the move. With this first prototype, Pullman is focusing on the well-being of its customers.

FITUP – Abdominals, work, rest! is an initiative developed by Louvre Hotels Group to respond to the increased desire of the French to do sport, a desire that has grown strongly during the various confinements. The rooms are equipped with a "FITUP" wall comprising various sports equipment supplied by Decathlon and guests also benefit from sports training videos on their televisions produced by TrainMe sports coaches.

Chi, the Spa of the Shangri-La Bosphorus is a blend of Asian and Turkish traditions, with its location on the Bosphorus, offering treatments based on the principles of rebalance and harmony between body and mind. Guests can enjoy immunity boosting massages, rejuvenation treatments, yoga and meditation sessions.

JIVA | Innergise by The Indian Hotels Company Limited is promoted as a 'wellness odyssey' consisting of holistic treatments, yoga and meditation sessions, immersive experiences honouring local culture and healthy cuisine. The four pillars of this wellness experience are: relaxing destinations, traditional Indian treatments, immersive experiences and balanced cuisine rich in essential nutrients.

The Ritz-Carlton Spa, Doha; An Immersive Sensory Experience  redefines luxury through an immersive sensory journey that pays tribute to Qatar's heritage. The spa combines traditional treatments with innovative techniques at the cutting edge of wellness, for which it was voted Qatar's Best Hotel Spa in 2021 by the World Spa Awards.

Les Amazones Parisiennes for Aqua Yoga sessions by Shangri-La Paris is a unique relaxation experience that takes place in two parts combining the practice of yoga on land and then in water, resulting in a blend of dance, tai chi and martial arts. This wellness offering combines ancient healing techniques with a more modern approach of positive psychology.

Vitality Suite at the Swissôtel Kursaal Bern is a holistic approach that aims to offer guests an additional personal space in their room to focus, meditate and reconnect with their body and mind. This initiative stems from the fact that travellers are increasingly concerned about their well-being while on the move and no longer want a simple room to sleep in, but spaces where they feel good and can reconnect with themselves.

Spa Vinothérapie® Caudalie Marqués de Riscal is a unique concept offered in the even more unique setting of the Marqués de Riscal vineyards. The prestigious cosmetics brand Caudalie, creator of the SPA Vinothérapie® concept, offers original and natural treatments that contain the properties of the vine and grape. The spa offers complete rituals or half-day sessions, or health cures lasting from two to six days.
