Why? To facilitate international deployment, to be able to put more things in Wojo, to associate new services, new products. An ambitious development plan supported by the two shareholders Accor and Bouygues Immobilier.
A clear ambition for the French company: become leader of coworking in Europe. Nextdoor was born in 2014 within the Bouygues Immobilier group, the first property opened in 2015 in Issy Les Moulineaux. In July 2017, AccorHotels joined the adventure and partnered 50% with the founder. By taking over as head of the group in June 2018, Stéphane Bensimon launched the deployment of an ambitious roadmap to accelerate the development of the network.
By diversifying of the types of places available - WOJO, WOJO CORNER AND WOJO SPOT - the group offers flexibility within flexibility. From dedicated offices rented by the month to spaces accessible by the hour and monthly subscriptions without commitment. A variety of formulas that is also found in the operation of the premises since Wojo is launching the management contract for coworking freely inspired by current hotel practices and in particular within the Accor group, which claims the largest number of managed properties in the world.
Stéphane Bensimon is looking for investors likely to adopt his concept and brand in order to reach more than 1,200 addresses by 2022, including 50 Wojo sites in Europe. He aims for 100% OR in the long term after a year 2017 at 90% and 2018 at 95% filling. Next Wojo openings: Lille and Montparnasse.
The latest development in Wojo is the SWAYS project (smart ways to work) developed in Issy les Moulineaux.
