The Rezidor group pursues the rapid expansion of the brand Radisson SAS by heading South, between Marbella and Malaga. The Costa del Sol welcomes Radisson’s European new-born, a luxurious resort property by Mijas Hill Development and developed with the franchiser Hoteles Ocio y Restauracion. This year-round paradise for golfers and families in search of rest, the Radisson SAS El Marques Resort & Spa offers its clientele 105 suites with one, two and three rooms ranging from 55 to 156 square meters. Each has a fully equipped kitchen and a terrace or private balcony. This up-market resort also includes two bars and two restaurants, including the gastronomic restaurant Scratch, run by the promising young chef Alvaro Garces. Between two rounds of golf, hotel guests who have come to recharge their batteries in this “Golf Valley” will be able to relax at the wellness center including sauna, Turkish bath, gym and massage cabins. A family oriented property, it has a swimming pool just for young children, as well as two other outdoor pools. Clearly positioned on the Leisure segment, the new Radisson nonetheless has two mid-size meeting rooms and a business center.
