Ascott Limited obtained its first five star ranking in France for its new Citadines Suites Louvre Paris residence.
"The Citadines Suites label is part of the logic of an upscale move of the Citadines brand. This label is very different from the others (Citadines Appart'Hotel and Citadines Prestige) in terms of positioning and product because our investments have reached more than 100,000 euros per accommodation, or three times the average amount invested in the other Citadines ranges," explained Alain Ferracani, when he was vice-president sales and marketing Europe at the Ascott group, in an interview with Hospitality ON.
The first Citadines Suites de Paris residence, with 51 suites, is part of an ambitious investment program, valued at 120 million euros, for the renovation and upscale rise of thirty or so Citadines properties in Europe by the year 2015. This program goes along with a division of the Citadines supply among three labels: Citadines Apart'hotel 3*, Citadines Prestiges 4*, and Citadines Suites 5*. It also includes the opening of a second residence under the luxury label in Paris for September 2014, the Citadines Suites Arc de Triomphe Paris.
