April confirms the acceleration of the recovery for the French hotel industry with a RevPAR up by 4.3%. Occupancy rates are generally stable, making increases in average daily rates the cause of this good performance… the best since May 2004.
Certainly France did not post the exceptional performance in April of some of its neighbours, and Germany in particular, but it has nothing to be embarrassed about with regard to its monthly performance. Slowly but surely in the prolongation of 2004, French hotels are improving their performance...
