France’s hotel industry basks in the sun in July

The first results of the summer season that could be drawn up at the end of July are excellent for the French hotel industry. French tourists were present as was foreign clientele, which was up. Business clientele was present as well thanks to a better economic situation. In the end, July saw a return of remarkable scores that have been unequalled for many seasons.

Figures speak by themselves : +1.8 pts for the occupancy rate, +7.4 % for the average daily rate and + 10.2% for the RevPar over 2005... this is what emerges from the analysis of July’s results.
