ONYX Hospitality Group grows its Shama brand with new signing

ONYX Hospitality Group has announced the signing of Shama Luxe Sukhumvit Bangkok. The agreement expands its Shama brand and launches the Shama Luxe brand into the luxury serviced apartment market.

The group has signed a business alliance agreement with Walton Asset Management Co. Ltd. to manage Shama Luxe Sukhumvit Bangkok. The luxury serviced apartment property is located in the Thonglor-Phrom Phong area of the Thai capital.

Shama Luxe Sukhumvit boasts 52 apartments, ranging from one- and two-bedroom Suites to two-bedroom Walton Suites. Each apartment is equipped with a living room, a dining room, a kitchen, a bathroom with bathtub, and a working area.

The property’s communal facilities include a fitness centre, a kids’ playroom, and a swimming pool overlooking the city.

The signing brings the Shama brand’s Bangkok portfolio to six properties. By the end 2023, the brand intends to grow its global portfolio to 19 properties, by also adding three more locations in Hong Kong and Malaysia.
